GEMMAQ

GEMMAQ is a social impact venture that rates companies based on the gender balance among company leadership, and is building a corporate gender equality and diversity rating and indexing system; gender-lenses for global markets. The GEMMAQ index also uniquely visualizes and color codes gender representation in executive management and on corporate boards of directors to show the real impact women have on the market economy. GEMMAQ received a highly competitive startup grant from the Icelandic Technology Development Fund in 2019, was awarded a grant from the Entrepreneur Fund of Islandsbanki in 2019, and received project grants from the Gender Equality Fund in Iceland. GEMMAQ stands for Gender Equality Measure Monthly Automated Quotation and - as the name implies - will be updated on a monthly basis, when the gender balance changes. GEMMAQ currently rates all companies in the Fortune 500.
